The Premier League needs you!
May 28th, 2009 at 6:00 am by Stephen Trenery

My beloved Everton team are heading to Wembley for the first time since 1995, we were underdogs then and won, let’s hope history repeats itself…

Manchester City have already been linked to some of Europe’s big names, and that will continue over the coming months. So, I’d like to know who we would like to see grace our Premier League turf next season, it doesn’t matter where they are from. It’s so funny how we don’t laugh any more

“Why so serious”? The Joker said. However, this could be said for the vast amount of football on the tele-box. I’m not talking about the football which is played, more the commentary and the programmes that support our great game.

Are they Footballers or stars?

I remember growing up as a little boy playing football, it’s always what I wanted to do, and it’s what I always wanted to be. This was just because I loved playing the game so much.

I’m sure so many of you out there wanted to do the same, and where did we end up? In regular jobs. Mainly because we didn’t make the grade, but hey, who care’s we enjoyed it, and we still enjoy it. Whether it’s watching, playing or even just talking about it. Football was, and in most cases is still, a huge part of our lives.

Are we an unfit nation?

I’m afraid on this rather wet and bleak morning I’ve been tipped over the edge. One news article on ‘healthy towns’ is the culprit.
