While I agree Hughes has been very badly treated, I do think he is over-rated. His signings in defence were poor, Lescott, Toure and Bridge are all average players who City paid well over the odds for. The signings of Adebayor and Robinho were the sign of desperation, Adebayor was let go by Arsene Wrenger for a very good reason (and I am Spurs fan so I hate praising him) but he is not a team player and Robinho is very much in the same vein. The appointment of Mancini is a joke, he won the league with Inter when all the top teams were decimated by scandal and points reduction. The Man City soap opera will continue for a while yet.
