Owen is just not good enough. A very poor player indeed. He has no first touch, is hardly involved in any build-ups (something you need in international football) and is still missing 3 or 4 chances a game. I think Ferguson has realised this and was shown in the game against Wolfsburg at Old Trafford. United were terrible for the first 20mins, the ball wasnt sticking up front and they just werent getting possession. Then Owen went off injured and the much maligned Berbatov came on. Suddenly the ball stuck up front, United were able to attack as a team and they were threatening through-out. A perfect microcosm of whats wrong with Owen. Ive said it before and i will say it again.
